For almost 70 years, Meals on Wheels services in Western Australia have played a crucial role in supporting the health and wellbeing of thousands of older Australians every year across 90 service locations.
We deliver nutritious meals, conduct a wellbeing check and facilitate independence by keeping people connected within their communities.
Our essential service plays an important role in early intervention and health prevention, allowing older Busselton residents to live in their homes where they are often happiest.
We do this through our dedicated delivery workforce who form meaningful connections with our customers, enabling them to age well and live independently while providing valuable peace-of-mind for their loved ones.
How does it work?
Every week day (Monday to Friday), we freshly cook a soup, a main meal and a sweet. We send a menu through the month prior and you mark off which meals you would like delivered for the following month. The meals are delivered via thermal heat-retaining bags straight from our kitchen. You have a couple of different payment options to ensure the whole process is easy and worry-free. Also available are frozen meals which are handy for weekends and public holidays.
